Every business has its unique processes and unique challenges, and those are the kinds of challenges Leading Edge loves to fix, whether it’s building a highly functional website to reach customers, developing a web app to ensure staff can perform their jobs consistently, or building analytics solutions so leaders can understand their data.
The story of our company dates all the way back to 1996 when our founder, Mark Badham channelled his love for technology and pragmatism into an IT consultancy with a specialisation in Linux and open-source solutions. We became especially fond of showing off just how well free and open-source solutions could compete with their proprietary competition.
Ten years after its founding, Leading Edge partnered with Intoweb and, as the name suggests, we became pretty good at web development. While our partnership with them ultimately ended, we kept a host of new skills and new team members.
We still carry those values of pragmatism today, and still have a soft spot for open-source technologies. After all, anything that can be highly customisable, effective, and save you money is worth investing in. But, many companies are already highly invested and established in the Microsoft ecosystem, and we love building solutions that make sense for your current IT infrastructure.
Now, Leading Edge is a company that provides integrated solutions from fully functional, bespoke web applications to secure and robust Linux servers, and analytics and low-code solutions from Microsoft Power Platform. So, regardless of your IT allegiances, we are excited to build a solution for you.
